Roswell Park was one of the first institutions in the nation to be recognized by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) as a comprehensive cancer center. That means we provide expert cancer care and conduct top-tier research aimed at finding ways to prevent and cure cancer, with NCI support. Three major studies have found that long-term survival rose from 6% to 20% overall, as well as within specific cancer types, for patients who were treated from the start at NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers, compared with those treated elsewhere.
Ride for Roswell is one of the nation’s largest cycling fundraising events that brings a community of people together to raise funds for Roswell Park, celebrate cancer survivors, pay tribute to those we’ve lost and share in the passion that connects us all: finding cures for cancer.
Basket raffle with all proceeds will be held first week in March. Any consideration is greatly appreciated.
