The Rotary Club of Vacaville is a service club. We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
THANK YOU to our donors, members, and community! With their generous support, we have donated to and done hands-on projects with our community, such as:
* Play for All Park, a local park set to open later this year in Vacaville that is all-inclusive, welcoming, and accessible for children of all abilities - www.play4allvacaville.org - started by our club.
* Scholarships for graduating seniors from all of the High Schools in Vacaville totaling over $25,000 this year
* Vacaville Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club
* Opportunity House homeless shelter including their Festival of Trees fundraiser
* Mentorship program for struggling students in Vacaville high schools with our club members as mentors
We have partnered with Rotary clubs locally and internationally to:
* Improve educational opportunities for children in Guatemala
* Construct a maternity clinic in rural Kenya to improve mother and infant survival rates
* Build a playground in a village in Mexico
* As part of Rotary International, we have helped in the "just this close" eradication of polio worldwide
