Rowe Elementary is a real community school with a diverse population consisting of all socio-economic classes. Forty eight percent of our student body receives free and reduced lunch and 35% are minorities. At Amanda C. Rowe Elementary School we embody a diverse community that values four pillars of learning: We value multi-year relationships with teachers. We value and encourage community engagement. We value and promote Project-Based Learning concepts. Finally, we value and create a sense of small school within the larger school community. With this model we support the whole student, where we nurture, promote academic excellence, meaningful relationships and community connections for our students and families. Our community has always depended on this positive relationship with our parent community to support the development and success of our students. We work hard to provide excellent education in an inclusive atmosphere to help create culturally sensitive and knowledgeable individuals.
