Rural Medical Services is a not-for-profit organization under Section 501(c)3 of the IRS. Revenue generated is from fee for services and also a 330 Grant from the federal government. This grant is made available to provide care for indigent patients through a sliding scae. RMS is governed by a Board of Directors. Our mission is to be the leader in improving the health of all citizens in our service area of East Tennessee through the delivery of the highest quality primary care at an affordable cost.
