Ruth’s House is a nonprofit transitional shelter with supportive services in Rice County for women and children who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, due to domestic violence or other traumatic life situations such as illness, disability, substance use disorder, or poverty. Our mission states: Empowering lives, offering hope through transitional housing and support. Ruth’s House provides a safe, loving home and opportunity for families to heal, grow, and transition to a new beginning.
