SAM's Sweet Heart Memorial Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to assisting families with complex medical diagnoses. Sam's Sweet Heart is named after Alissa and Luke Bartel's two children who passed away before the age of one with complex terminal medical diagnoses. Their legacy lives on through the foundation within and provides assistance for all the difficulties that arise for families that are affected by complex medical conditions. To date, SAM's has raised and given back over $107,000 to families locally.
