The Sabers Football Booster Club’s major purpose is to give support to our students and to promote football/pep band/cheerleading, build traditions, and promote positive behavior and build character. The Booster Club works closely with both coaching staffs and band leaders to meet our vision….
To foster an environment that inspires student athletes, coaches, parents, and the community to collectively create a positive and spirited atmosphere. We are volunteers who wish to serve and lead by example. We support through fundraising, stand behind strong moral character and good sportsmanship, promote a winning school spirit through athletics and encourage attendance.
The Sabers Booster Club is a group of parents whose mission is to enrich the Susquehanna Community High School athletic community by providing financial support for our Football, Football Cheer, and Pep Band programs. This is done by funding areas of need that are not fully covered by the school. We are dedicated to the continued support of our student athletes and coaching staff. In addition to financial support, the Sabers Booster Club recognizes that participation in high school athletics benefits everyone and promotes opportunities to build and strengthen relationships among all involved: the student body, coaches, teaching staff, parents, and the community. We strive to support athletic and academic excellence, create a winning school spirit, promote team unity, and maintain the history and tradition of excellence for all student athletes.
The Booster Club is currently working with our new coaching staff and high school administrators on rebuilding our program to better support our student athletes. We are looking for businesses to help so we can achieve our goals. THis years current goals are: headsets for our entire coaching staff, an updated camera for film review, and most importantly: Footballs for both the Varsity and Junior High Teams. In addition to the above, we are also hoping to provide all our Players, Cheerleaders, and Band Members with food before every game.
We maintain a vision that our communities will work together to build the best support for our young musicians, cheerleaders, and football players. This vision can only be reached with your support.
