The Sachem Council of PTA's main purpose is to promote the welfare of children and youth. We proudly help to bring together all partners in education. Our role is to inform, advise, guide, instruct and encourage the leaders of local PTA units.
Our Council has focused on increasing community engagement opportunities, such as partnering with our local law enforcement and public library to promote child safety, a community event to showcase PTA Reflections artists. We are also very proud of our Scholarship Fundraiser, which for the past 30+ years has enabled us to annually award between 35-50 scholarships to deserving high school seniors!
