Sahaba Initiative serves as a beacon for community-driven change in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, dedicated to addressing a multitude of needs for Inland Empire residents in a holistic, culturally competent and dignified manner. These services include: 

Pop-up food distribution events offered through scheduled events at various community sites along with our weekly food distribution at our food pantry that feeds over 300 families.

Telehealth and in-person therapy sessions including trauma-informed and culturally competent models.

Intensive case management and emergency financial assistance services for families and individuals, optimized for vulnerable populations such as refugees and justice-involved individuals. For case management and therapy clients we collect information related to their household size, geographic location, and household income.

Community health education, including workshops related to behavioral health and other aspects of wellness.

We offer holistic services to transform low-income families in crisis by focusing on housing, hunger, economic stability, and mental well-being. Our vision is rooted in leading community programs to break poverty cycles, striving for excellence, trust, collaboration, and the dignity of all. Our organizational values are non-negotiable and guide all our decisions, behaviors, and commitments.
