St. Anianus Church’s mission is to renew lives through teaching, discipleship, worship, community, and service, as experienced in the apostolic tradition of the Orthodox Christian Church. The Church believes that it is in the living body of Christ – which is the Church – that true healing of the whole person can be realized. It is for this reason that our aim is to be the Link to Christ.
“Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.” (Matthew 15:30)
St. Anianus Church is an Orthodox Christian parish from all walks of life, age groups and imperfections. As God builds the community of St. Anianus, we invite members to share in the church’s life of prayer and fellowship, and to explore the worship and spirituality of the Orthodox Church within a diverse community of Christians.
The Church doors are always open to those who are looking for a spiritual home, those that have questions about Christianity or the Orthodox faith, those who just need a supportive community to belong to, or anyone else that wants to attend with us–our doors are open!
Some other services within the church are:
1. The Link: Each Sunday at 10:45AM - discuss topics that are relevant to Christian life, that help them grow, and offer them an opportunity to discuss them in small groups with other believers.
2. Children’s ministry (pre-school through high school): Each Sunday at 10:45AM – teaching young children and youth about the church through Bible stories and the lives of Coptic saints.
3. Lighthouse Ministry: serves Trenton Train Station Families. Provide meals, clothing, and other assistance (housing, medicine and the like)
4. Annual Christmas Wishes Drive: each family within the church sponsor a child and buy items in their Wishlist
5. Back 2 school Backpack Program: provide Children new backpack with supplies at the beginning of each school year.
