For over a century, St. John the Baptist School has been at the forefront of Catholic education in Northwest Indiana, serving students from Whiting, Hammond, East Chicago as well as Chicago’s Southeast Side, and Hegewisch communities. Our school serves as a pillar of faith-based education and has been awarded Exemplary Status by the State of Indiana.
St John the Baptist fundraising events are vital to our school’s financial stability. Major projects which will benefit from our upcoming Festival fundraising event include, but are not limited to, improving and updating student curriculum, school improvements, and STEM resources and technology for students and teachers. For this reason, we are seeking YOUR help. Monetary donations are used to defray the overall expenses associated with food, prizes, and entertainment during the Festival weekend. We also gladly accept donations of goods and materials needed for the Festival, as well as gift certificates, merchandise, food, memorabilia, or any other gifts that may be included in our Silent Auction or various raffles.
