Saint Joseph Notre Dame is a parish high school in the City of Alameda and is home to 400 students. Our mission is to develop confident, open-minded, and effective leaders who are ready to live joyful lives of faith, scholarship and service.
SJND remains the #1 Most Diverse Private High Schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. 60% of our student body receive tuition assistance and approximately 12% of SJND students would qualify for reduced or free lunch funds at public schools.
SJND is committed to providing equal access to a college preparatory education to low to moderate income teens in the greater East Bay and decreasing the learning loss and gap that has been proven to exist among at-risk high school students in lower socio-economic circumstances.
Since our inaugural class in 1881, we've proudly witnessed the graduation of 16,000+ students, with 99% of seniors successfully matriculating to college.
