Samartian Inn is a non profit, and non sectarian social service agency.
Samaritan Inn provides shelter in 14 private apartments, emergency food, and community case management to "at risk" or homeless people in Sussex County, NJ regardless of age, sex, race or religion. Samartian Inn shares a positive responsibilty to preserve the dignity of the individual, to relieve human suffering, to assist the stricken,to offer sanctuary to the homeless and stewardship to those who have lost hope and to particiapte cooperatively within the Sussex County social service network.
Our core values are Service, Justice, Competence and Human Dignity.
Our Objectives include meeting consumers concrete energency needs for food and shelter, providing community case management focused on crisis prevention, problem solving, advocacy and assisting clients to link to appropriate community resources and ongoing support systems. We strive for responsible stewardship of limited resources by not duplicating existing services in our community. We support education and advocacy regarding the issues lof affordable housing, jobs that pay a living wage, food insecurity and homelessness.
