Champion Band Boosters is a non-profit association and shall be operated exclusively for
educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the
Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or the corresponding section of any future federal tax
code and according to the Boerne Independent School District Booster Club Parent
Organization Guidelines (BISD BCPOG). The purpose of the Champion Band Boosters is
to:
1) Support the band program at Boerne-Samuel V. Champion High School and assist
its directors in the tactical implementation (events, contests, programs, etc.) and
long-term strategies of the program through volunteerism, fundraising,
communications, student recruitment and advocacy.
2) Promote cooperation between the bands, schools and community.
