Microchips & Queso is community robotics team participating in the FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics competition. Our team is based in San Antonio, TX and supported by San Antonio Homeschool Robotics 501(c)(3).  Each season our students rise to the challenge to build a robot which competes in events at the local, area, state, and even world level.

The international FIRST Robotics program immerses students in hands-on learning alongside real engineers, turning STEM professionals into role models as inspiring as athletes. In our first season we advanced to the FIRST World Championship!

Outreach is an important part of our values at Microchips & Queso. We give back to our community through events for Girl Scouts, a local science museum, and mentoring younger robotics teams.  Throughout our interactions on and off the field, we seek to be examples of Gracious Professionalism and Coopertition.
