About the Nonprofit

Blue Cares is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the community outreach program of the San Antonio Police Officers Association (SAPOA). Our mission is to provide year-round services and assistance to underprivileged, low-income, at-risk children and their families.

To achieve our goals, Blue Cares works with local governmental and educational institutions, small and large local businesses, and other non-profit organizations. Blue Cares is currently most active in our Blue Santa and Patricia Calderon Scholarship.
