The San Diego World Affairs Council (SDWAC) was founded in 1954. SDWAC is a chapter of the World Affairs Council of America - the largest international affairs non-profit, nonpartisan organization in the United States. Our Council serves the entire county of San Diego. In addition, we have a North County Chapter specifically serving that area.
SDWAC is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and engaging San Diegans on global issues, foreign policy, international relations, and cross-cultural opportunities and challenges. We sponsor events with international themes, host prominent speakers, and facilitate discussions on global issues. We encourage all members of the community to join us for lively, thought-provoking and educational events exploring the most timely topics of the day, here at home and around the world.
