The mission of the San Miguel Elementary PTA is for every student, family, and teacher to feel welcome and supported at San Miguel Elementary School in Sunnyvale, CA. As a PTA, we are about community, enrichment, advocacy and volunteering. Our organization is run by parent and guardian volunteers. 

Volunteers are native English speakers, native Spanish speakers, and bilingual speakers, in support of our integrative Juntos Spanish program (offered TK-5). San Miguel Elementary is a Title 1 school with a majority of our students from families living below the poverty line.

Our goal is to support excellent opportunities and experiences for all of our students, regardless of background. With our fundraising, we are able to support school assemblies, field trips, after-school enrichment programs (e.g., band, art, coding classes), and more. Without our support, many of our students would miss out on these experiences.
