The Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra has been providing young musicians with exemplary musical education and performance opportunities through expert instruction in an ethnically diverse setting; enriching the cultural life of the Santa Clarita Valley and beyond, for over 30 years. SCVYO is dedicated to musical and social diversity and bringing positive impact to the musical education and enrichment of our young musicians and community at large.
Our diverse youth program serves the youth of Santa Clarita typically of the ages 8-25. There are 3 different ensembles with varying skill levels. New members are welcome year round. We also provide a series of programming designed to foster collaboration with other local arts organizations and create multimedia interactive community music events for children and families. In addition, we provide programs geared toward introducing students to professional working artists from diverse areas of the music industry through online and in-person interactive workshops.
