Since 1975, Santa Cruz Parent Education Nursery School (SCPENS), our non-profit parent participation preschool, has been an integral part of the Santa Cruz community. Offering quality education, SCPENS is led by compassionate, hard-working teachers who encourage parents to be active participants in their child’s education. Parents assist in the administration and maintenance of the school, while broadening their parenting skills in a nurturing, caring classroom environment.
We are also a part of the Pajaro Valley Unified School District’s Adult School. Recent school district budget cuts have left us completely self-funded. In order to ensure the continued success of our school, we depend on the support of the community.
SCPENS will be hosting our annual Sip & Bid Silent Auction at Woodhouse Brewery. We will also be celebrating our 48th year of serving the community. The money we raise will go directly toward classroom materials, art supplies, our scholarship fund, and keeping our quality education accessible and affordable to all. If you are able to help, we would greatly appreciate a donation of a gift certificate/merchandise/service to offer in our silent auction fundraiser.
In exchange for your donation, you will receive excellent community exposure and advertising. Your company name, address, phone number and donation will be listed in the event bidding brochure. Additionally, you will be featured in our promotional materials as we sell tickets in the community.
