We are the Santa Paula High School Music Booster Club serving the students from a Title 1 school, Santa Paula High School, in the Ventura County School District.

The purpose of our parent-ran booster club is to help support these 150+ students in whatever capacity they may need. Being from a title 1 area, meaning an underprivileged and low-income area, the parents and volunteers of our booster club donate whatever time, skill, and effort we have available to help foster the needs of those currently in the program. We supply them with food/snacks, water, uniform care (sewing, steaming, fitting, storing, cleaning, etc), and other supplies and/or equipment that the students may need to perform and may otherwise not be able to afford. We also travel with these students to competitions, parades, sporting events, town-centered events, and any other off-campus, school-related activities where they require chaperones.

This highschool music program has a handful of different facets for the students to choose from in order to help foster those musical, educational, and community-based relationships. They can choose from the Marching band, Concert band, Jazz band, Beginning Band, Colorguard, Winterguard, Choir, and Joe’s Band. The students and staff are currently looking to add more music opportunities to help them continue to enrich the lives of those in the program, as well as those in our community.

The booster club functions as a part of each of those individual programs, helping the students with whatever they may need; however, we are few and have limited resources and time. We, particularly the students we cater to, could use your help.

Last school year, our campus and community suffered a serious loss when our school's oldest gym burned down- taking with it over 90% of our fundraising equipment, including items that helped support the kids physically during their performances. We, the handful of parents in the booster club, have been donating our own money and personal time to cover costs and other needs of the students in our program while we wait to find out more information regarding the insurance status of those items; unfortunately those insurance procedures take time and because of that, we are at the mercy of those who are able to help us through donation- like you!

Will you help us?
