The Santa Teresa Athletic Booster Club (STABC) is a 501c non-profit organization operated by parent volunteers that is chartered to raise funds to support the athletic teams at Santa Teresa High School in San Jose, California. The goal is to bridge the monetary gap between what the district contributes and what is actually needed to run the programs. Last year, we provided over $30,000 in support of our student athletes. A formal grant process is utilized to distribute the funds to the requesting teams.
High school sports not only offer physical and health benefits, but also mental and social benefits that help shape our young student athletes. Participating in high school sports is one of the best ways for teens to learn the values of teamwork and collaboration. At Santa Teresa High School there are over 20 sports teams and approximately 700 athletes. Santa Teresa Athletic Boosters Club (STABC) supports our student athletes by providing team grants to help purchase items like equipment and uniforms. New equipment helps athletes play their sport safely and new uniforms build school pride, helping athletes look good, feel good and play great. In addition to team grants, STABC also provides scholarships, awards, and volunteer opportunities to our student athletes. Your support is greatly appreciated to help build and continue our mission.
