Since 2006, SCOOP’s mission has been to reduce suffering and overpopulation among stray and feral cats in Cincinnati through non-lethal methods. We distributed nearly 2500 spay/neuter vouchers to people of any income who helped stray and feral cats in Cincinnati. In our newest program, we assist the community by paying for the medical care, including spay/neuter, of sick, injured and abused community cats. For the past 20 years, we also have assisted cats who need long-term care in our sanctuary. They receive the best medical care possible and Hospice care as needed.
To date, we have assisted over 3000 cats through our programs, which encourage community involvement in resolving a social issue.
