The Main Street Theatre Company is a local community theater located in Old Bridge, New Jersey. We have been serving the Central New Jersey community for over 25 years, striving to provide for the cultural enhancement of our patrons, participants, and community by putting on high quality theatrical productions. We provide a venue for musicians, directors, choreographers, and lighting and sound technicians to perfect their craft.
We also provide a venue for actors of all ages. We have programs geared to youth, as evidenced by our summer youth and junior productions. We strive to offer a diversified slate of shows every year to attract patrons from all walks of life. Productions we have put on in previous years have included The Outsiders; The Wiz; In the Heights; It's a Wonderful Life; The Diary of Anne Frank; and Hairspray. We also provide a series of abridged fairy tale productions geared for very young audiences of elementary school and preschool ages. We also frequently work with organizations like Camp Robin, The Association for Brain Injured Children, and the Girl Scouts of America, to offer special discounted group prices.
