The Schaumburg Firefighters have been hosting a charity
softball tournament since 1993. Thirty four fire
departments throughout the Chicago area come together
to raise money for The Ronald McDonald House and the
Schaumburg Township Food Pantry. Each year about
$40,000 is raised, with $25,000 going to Ronald
McDonald House, $5000 to the food pantry and $5000
for Christmas gifts for families that cannot afford gifts.
Over the past 27 years we have raised over $835,000 for
our charities!
