Science Research for All promotes STEM education by teaching educators how to guide their students through interest-driven independent research. By empowering teachers to implement SRA methodology, we are helping to shift STEM education from traditional instruction to open inquiry where students decide what and how they will study. Only 20% of US high school graduates are prepared for college-level coursework in STEM majors. Over the past 15 years, the US has only produced 10% of the world's STEM graduates. In particular, young women, students of color, students with special needs, and other marginalized communities are not encouraged to participate in the STEM community. Science Research for All builds STEM research programs in the school community through teacher in-service and support. Students engage in independent and original research with the support of mentors from the STEM community.
