Troop 292 was founded in 1922 and is the oldest continuously operating troop in Fullerton. We offer a year-round adventure-based program designed to encourage effective character, citizenship, and fitness development for our scouts, aged 11-17. Through opportunities in service and leadership, scouts experience personal growth while achieving their goals and improving the community around them. All levels of skills and interests are welcomed and the Troop works together to guide scouts towards their highest ambitions.

Scout-led activities reach beyond traditional expectations to include backpacking, bouldering, artistic craftwork, watersports, biking, annual Summer Camps located throughout California and high-adventure camps throughout the country, and more. Troop 292's motto is "Been There, Done That. Something New Tomorrow." We pride ourselves on finding new opportunities for learning and adventure each year.

We are proudly sponsored by the Fullerton Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN 52-1384791), which shares the common goal of enjoying the outdoors while preserving it for future generations. Since the Troop was chartered, we have had over 100 Scouts achieve the rank of Eagle. Our Eagle projects have helped the environment, local schools, churches, and charities throughout North Orange County.
