The mission of Seagoville Public Library is to improve the quality of life for the residents of the City of Seagoville that it serves. Our goals are to serve the community with reliable information, to offer a broad and diverse range of resources, to educate, entertain, and enlighten. To initiate activities which will encourage the most effective use of these selected materials. To cooperate with educational, civic, cultural groups and organizations whose aims are compatable with those of the library. To provide opportunity and ancouragement to men, women, children, and young people to educate themselves continuously. To facilitate universal life-long education for the general reader. To demonstrate professional leadership in designing, developing and maaging library collections, systems, and services.
Our library provides a wide range of reading material for all ages. We also provide internet, computer, and printing access. We host various activities for children that promote and ecourage reading.
