Our program is designed to introduce families to the sport of football in a fun and instructive environment. While we teach the kids how to win, winning is secondary to the fun of playing organized team sports. Numerous young athletes use sports as motivation to achieve goals outside of the sporting world. The SYSA want to be a force that can task our youth to be great on and off the field by providing year-around training, opportunities to volunteer in our communities and build long-lasting relationships.
We have celebrated more than 45years of excellence. We recognize that there is greatness in each of our student athletes and emphasize individual growth in a team atmosphere. Besides teaching football fundamentals, our focus is to simply promote athletic and academic excellence in all our players.
In addition to creating a lifelong love of sports, our goal is to create outstanding citizens and future leaders in school. The SYSA recognize that giving back to our community through sports is a way to save the lives of those who may not have any other positive outlets. Our ultimate goal is to get our youth off their cell phones, off the couches, out of the house, and back into a physical state of mind!
