At Seattle Children's Museum we engage children, and the people who care for them, in playful, creative, hands-on exploration and discovery.

Our purpose is to encourage kids and adults alike to embrace active, lifelong learning. We create and maintain museum spaces, events and programs that are inclusive, engaging, playful and fun for ALL of the region’s kids and families.

We envision a region where children, families, students and educators have a wide network of facilities to support them in learning, engagement, play and quality time together. We will strive to be an essential part of that network.

The event we are making this request for is our Fall Fundraiser, Seattle Children's Museum Under the Moon, benefitting Passport to Play, our community access program. Passport to Play is an initative that connects our region's families to Seattle Children's Museum through collaboration with partner organizations. The program entrusts these organizations with the ability to distribute free and reduced admission to the museum and its programs to those they feel could benefit most.

Since its launch in 2010, Passport to Play has connected us to over 80 partner organizations and provided over $1.5 million in reduced admission costs.

After a 2+ year closure, we're now re-introducing Passport to Play and need our community's support as we set about on our adventure of play with all Seattle-area children and their families aboard. We've already committed over $50,000 in complimentary museum admission for 10 partner organizations and we're eager to watch this program continue to take flight.
