Since 1998, our not-for-profit program has served all seniors, age 60 and over, who live in McHenry County or Sun City Huntley. Our mission is to help seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life by remaining in their own homes or the home of a loved one for as long as possible.
Volunteers help us achieve our mission by providing services such as transportation to critical, life-sustaining as well as life-enriching destinations, friendly visits, minor home repairs, yard work, and shopping-- all at absolutely no charge to the senior.
We seek to offer services that are not only medically necessary, but also to help our senior care recipients feel less isolated and decrease feelings of anxiety and depression. When our seniors know someone is there for them who cares and will help them remain an integral part of their community, they remain independent longer.
