 Shakopee Soccer Association is a non-profit youth sports program in Shakopee, MN. Our players range in ages from 3-30 years old. We have three programs recreational with 800 kids, competitive with 600 kids, and this will be our first year supporting a local adult men's team. Hopefully we will have a women's team nest year. Our recreational program started with ages 3-10, but when Shakopee cut funding for middle school sports, we added a middle school recreational program to support the kids in our community. We work the C.A.P. agency (a local non-profit supporting the community), and hold free clinics at Canterbury Downs (a local horse racing track), for the children of the summer employees that work there.

We have a financial assistance program that we set up for families that cannot afford to enroll their children in sports. In 2015 we awarded $15,000 in scholarships. In 2023 we awarded over $44,000 and we forcast it to be over $50,000. Anything we can get from outside sources we give straight to the families in the Association.
