The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) was chartered by Congress (Title 36 USC Chapter 2301) on May 28, 1936. The VFW is a non-profit organization, which means it receives no United States funding through taxes and only is supported by charitable donations.
We are holding a silent auction in May for the VFW and it's veteran members and are requesting a donation for this event to raise funds for their organization. Thank you in advance.
