From Watts to Wilmington, Sharefest gives youth facing significant barriers the skills, support, and connections they need to achieve economic success. As we welcome our 20th year of service to the community, we reflect on what the past years have taught us. Through the years we have grown to match the needs of the youth and what we continue to see is the need for Sharefest’s programs. Our work focuses on disconnected youth inside the walls of Continuation High Schools throughout the Los Angeles area who face tremendous barriers to success. Our students fight to overcome these barriers such as generational trauma, economic barriers, and exposure to the criminal justice system in order to achieve a high school diploma. Once they graduate, we continue to mentor and support them as they enter community college or workforce development. Our ultimate goal is to give the students we serve, the tools they need to achieve lifelong social and economic success.
On October 14, 2023 we are hosting our annual fundraising event where funds raised will help extend our reach to even more youth. Your donation will help Sharefest work to change the trajectory for more vulnerable youth. Thank you in advance for your support!
