The Shirley friendship Fund as part of the Shirley Charitable Foundation provides holiday cheer for local families strugglin to put food on the table by way of a family holiday meal, essentials, and gifts for children. Each year we assemble holiday food baskets as well as clothing for local families in need. The work is carried out by many volunteers who graciously donate thier time to help thier neighbors. Each recipient is selected based on referrals from clergy, school nurses, and first responders.
