People experiencing homelessness spend the majority of their time trying to find their next meal, shelter, and safety. Without a job, rising out of homelessness is nearly impossible.
The need for our services continues to grow and we believe that closing the gap between income and housing costs is a key component in ending these challenges for our unhoused neighbors. Finding permanent jobs that pay a living wage is essential in closing that gap.
SCS believes that providing meaningful transitional work, with minimal barriers, can help our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness get a fresh start.
