The PURPOSE and MISSION of this not-for-profit corporation are to promote and encourage high scholastic standards for young women in the Passaic County area; to provide scholarship opportunities in the Passaic County area and to consistently advocate for social change and provide service to all mankind.
To carry out the purpose of Pi Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, in relating to the needs of the community of Passaic County, New Jersey, and the concerns and emphasis of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
To promote unity within the community in matters of educational, cultural, and civic life and the general welfare of the community.
