The mission and purpose of Silk City Pearls, Inc. is to promote and encourage high scholastic standards for young women in the Passaic County area; to provide scholarship opportunities to young women in the Passaic County area; to promote unity within the community in matters of educational, cultural, and civic life and the general welfare of the community; and to consistently advocate for social change and provide service to all mankind.
