Slater Family Network is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to partnering with individuals and families to help them meet their basic needs. SFN has been providing resources, referrals, and programs to residents of the Bangor Area School District since 2000.
Services are free and confidential and open to all district residents. Slater Family Network does not seek out clients. Families and individuals must contact our office directly.
We are housed on the grounds of the Bangor School District, but in no way are we affiliated. We are our own 501(c)(3) and carry all our own credentials.
Our services include an onsite food pantry, Back Pack Buddies Program, onsite clothing closet, rent assist*, Utility payments*, In-House Mental Health Counseling*. Assistance navigating public assistance programs and applications, School supplies, Holiday gifts and meals, faxing, an Annual Scholarship and much more!
