We provide the students of Smith Elementary with a respectful, integral, and safe environment of excellence that fosters educational growth. As always, we do our best to provide all students with learning experiences that will challenge them to become critical thinkers and productive members of our community. We realize the importance of communication with our parents and encourage parental engagement in their child’s education. One of our initiatives is to develop the love of reading in every student. We want students to see the benefits of reading and engage them to become life-long readers. We also want our students to RISE to be their best by showing respect, integrity, safety, and excellence in everything they do. We ask parents to support our efforts by making sure students complete homework daily and to attend school regularly and on time. Together, our commitment to these efforts will assure our children’s success!
