The Smithfield YMCA is a vital part of the community; a welcoming, safe place to learn new skills, connect with others and feel supported. As a YMCA and a non-profit organization, we never turn away anyone that is unable to afford programs or membership. Your donation is a vital contribution to fund our Community In Need Scholarship Program, and ensures that the Y remains a critical resource to everyone in our community, regardless of one’s ability to pay.
In 2021 the Smithfield YMCA provided over $150,000 in scholarships, serving over 450 youth and families in our local community. Since the pandemic, the need for scholarships has drastically increased. Our April 2022 fundraiser will aid the Y in our mission to continue serving our entire community at large.
