Smoky Mountain Children's Home is a private, faith-based, non-profit, multi-service agency that provides care, love, and healing to children and youth who have no one else to advocate or care for them. This mission is mandated by the Word of God in James 1:27 (NLT): "Pure and geniune religion, in the sight of God the Father, means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you." A continuum of trauma-informed programs is offered to meet the unique, individual needs of children and to strengthen their family's system, regardless of age, capacity, race and creed.
