Special Needs Community Learning Adult Program, started in August 2023.
18+ Post-Secondary Community Adult Program North Texas Area. Our mission is to provide adults with special needs an opportunity to make a difference in their lives & anchor themselves in the community by building relationships, establishing partnerships, and volunteering.
Our vision is an inclusive community where individuals with special needs can recognize their full potential and contribute to the community in personally meaningful ways.
SNAP & CLAP and its Anchors (clients) are out in the community 70% of the day. Anchors are 18+ post-secondary adults with special needs. Anchors participate in volunteering, interacting, recreational, and eating out.
