The SoeBrown Scholarship Foundation is a grassroots community organization born out of the  Hartford County area of Connecticut. Led by our personal charge to embolden students who face mental wellness challenges to achieve their full academic and leadership potential. 
 
We are dedicated to addressing the mental health needs of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), we are building a robust network to provide an expansive support system for both our scholars and the young adults of the Greater Hartford Area. 
 
The mission of SoeBrown Scholarship Foundation is to ensure and advance the futures of underserved and underrepresented students who face mental wellness challenges using a three-pronged approach. We provide academic scholarships, counseling services, and a community resource network to each and everyone of our scholars.

By means of providing access to education, and advocacy we are transforming the cultural conversation around mental wellness, education and success.
 
We envision a world where all young adults from communities of color feel empower, uplifted and support to not only gain a higher education but create real impact on their communities and the world of mental health.
