Our program provides service dogs and training for Veterans diagnosed with combat-related PTSD or Traumatic Brian Injury. We pair our veterans with dogs rescued from local shelters (if the veteran does not already own a suitable dog that he would prefer using). The two complete the training together over a 6-9 month period, and during that period Soldier’s Best Friend covers all expenses- from professional training, to veterinary bills and leashes.
