Project Graduation is a well-established tradition throughout Sonoma County in which inspired parents make a commitment to our graduates to help them through what is statistically the most dangerous night of their lives. We are a nonprofit-100% volunteer organization committed to providing a safe, fun, alcohol and drug-free environment for all graduating seniors on graduation night. Historically, over 90% of graduating seniors have attended this memorable event. More than 100 parents, teachers, and community volunteers help plan, organize and staff this all-night party.
The financial support of many business, individuals, and community organizations in our wonderful west county helps cover the costs of food & beverages, entertainment, activities, prizes and more.
Our graduates have risen above many challenges in our community in recent years. They deserve to celebrate, and our goal is to create a graduation celebration that is both safe and exciting. According to statistics from the California Highway Patrol, there have been no graduation night fatalities in Sonoma County since the inception of Project Graduation in 1988. We are all very proud of these statistics.
