This past August, the Sonia Sotomayor High School Band opened its doors to students for the first time. One of the goals for our students is to increase our community involvement and to teach our students the importance of giving back to the community. As you can imagine, being our first year it has come with its challenges. To that end, our Band is hosting a variety of Fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds for meals, transportation, uniforms and other essential items to make this program successful.
