The South County Pre-Kindergarten Co-op (SCPC) is a small not-for-profit corporation designed to provide a quality pre-school experience to three and four-year-olds in our community. Founded in 1974, SCPC is accredited by the Maryland Department of Education and meets all requirements for a non-public nursery school. It is located at the Davidsonville Family Recreation Center.

SCPC is a cooperative pre-school made up of around 30 families that provides children with quality education at a reasonable cost. At the same time, our model allows parents the opportunity to observe, participate, and offer input into their child’s classroom. In exchange for reduced tuition, the school depends on the volunteer efforts of its parents and monies earned through fundraising
