Southeast Tech is a five-star rated school in the Clark County School District. Our students are unique as they have chosen the more challenging path for high school. Each student has applied for, and been admitted into, one of the twelve career technical programs. These students have chosen to dedicate their time to learn a skilled technical trade, in addition to completing the standard high school curriculum. During their time at our campus, they are  given the opportunity to earn up to 30 college credits by taking dual-credit courses. Along with college readiness, most of our career technical programs allow students to earn licensure in their respective industries or participate in practical field experiences. For example, cosmetology students earn 1,600 hours of hand-on training and complete the examination process to earn their Nevada State Board of Cosmetology license. It is with these unique opportunities that they can begin to change their lives and the lives of their families as they can access high-paying jobs or pursue post-secondary education.

Equally important, Southeast Tech contains a diverse student population and culture. Over 50% of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch, requiring support from their school and community to have access to basic needs, food, and resources. Special Education students are also able to be fully enrolled in a major and assisted with academic support and services to meet their specific educational needs. Southeast Tech is proud of its 100% graduation rate. In addition, our school serves a large Hispanic student population, many of whom English is not their first language. The Student Organization of Latinos is Tech’s largest student-run organization whose main goal is to give back to the Hispanic community through a variety of services. Our school’s diverse demographic and culture is what makes our school special.
