Southeastern Children's Home (SECH) and Counseling Center is a non-profit organization that provides care to needy children and families through group home care, foster care, and counseling. SECH is located in Duncan, SC between Greenville and Spartanburg. SECH has over 53 acres that include: 3 residential group homes, a counseling center, a basketball court, a playground, a pond, and a swimming pool. The children SECH serves come from across the United States. 100% have suffered mental or physical abuse, 100% have suffered sexual abuse. The children receive weekly independant and group counseling. Our counseling center is also open to the public based on a sliding scale. We strive to strengthen families. Our main program focuses on mental healing, graduating high school, and learning independent life skills. We provide a place of hope that children can enjoy part of the childhood many miss out on in these circumstances.
